Kidney diseases are usually asymptomatic until their progressive stages. They considered as an important health problem due to their costs for health care systems as well as compromisingindividual health. Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) is considered as an important health problem due to its costs for health care systems as well as compromisingindividual health. Thus, prevention, diagnosis and proper management of the disease could improve public health and reduce burden of the disease. Considering the increasing trend of the disease, its outcomes and high cost, the Isfahan Kidney Disease Research Center was established in 2008 to facilitate multidisciplinary research in the following fields;

·         Renal Function and disease (RFD)

·         Treatment and prevention of kidney and urinary tract disorders

·         Epidemiology of kidney and urinary tract disorders
