The Medical Education Research Center was established to promote the quality of medical sciences education through research in the fields of medical education including needs assessment, curriculum development, student assessment, faculty evaluation, faculty development, teaching and learning methods. This center offers its services through:

·         Conducting research in various fields of medical education,

·         Introducing the position and importance of medical education,

·         Introducing application for medical research results,

·         Promoting evidence based decisions in medical education development,

·         Suggesting strategies and policies for medical education development,

·         Defining standards and regulations of medical education evaluation,

·         Participation in presenting medical education outcomes,

·         Training competent researchers in medical education.
